Introducing the Burlington Chiropractors at Cascade Health Care

Dr. Paul Rosasco

Chiropractic is different and chiropractic adjustments make a difference!

After spending years involved in high performance athletics and attending the U.S. Air Force Academy I became familiar with the concept of "living with pain".  Having directed my studies toward a career in health care it was not until my fourth year in pre-med that a friend said me, "Hey, you should come and meet this guy.  He's been doing amazing things for a lot of people."  Hence, my first chiropractic experience.  there was no turning back.  It works ... Why?  How?  It didn't fit with my education experience, but it did fit perfectly with my philosophy.

In 1973 I chose to take the chiropractic path.  I attended Sherman College of Chiropractic in South Carolina.  I did my postdoctoral work in the upper Midwest and have been in practice here in Burlington, Washington since 1980.

Dr. Melisa Kraayvanger

I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic.  At first I was surprised by how similar the courses were to medical courses.  Chiropractic school was life changing.  It changed the way I lived and still to this day.  the more educated and informed we are the better we can make our quality of life and others around us better.

I chose to become a chiropractor because chiropractic saved my mother's life.  For 10 years my Mom lived with nerve-related problems and mainstream medical doctors could not figure out.  She was having so much trouble that she would lay on the bathroom floor vomiting, nauseated every day for years. Within five weeks of chiropractic care she stopped vomiting daily and began getting her life back.  There is nothing more priceless than a good quality of life!

Dr. Paul Asks some important questions of interest to Burlington residents - Chiropractor Burlington Dr. Paul Asks...

Why are some people allergic to pollen and others aren't?
It's not the pollen. Chiropractors know that if it were, everyone would be allergic to pollen, nuts and pet dander. But that's not the case. It's the person, not the pollen! If you live in Burlington and your stress levels are high, then each year the grass, the trees or the weeds put your nervous system over the top. Many report that chiropractic care helps reduce the frequency and severity of their allergic response.
Why are frequent visits advised when starting chiropractic care?
Consistent visits at the beginning of your chiropractic care help create the momentum necessary to correct and retrain unhealthy spinal patterns. Later, Burlington patients find that continued care on a less frequent visit schedule can help preserve their progress and avoid a relapse.
